Wood Dowels Standard and custom wood dowels are the core wood products at Saunders Brothers. Our manufacturing facilities are designed to produce a high volume of quality, kiln-dried hardwood dowels, in birch, beech and maple.Diameters generally range from 1/8” to 2” Diameter tolerance are +/- 1/64” up to ¾”. +/-1/32”, 7/8” and up Lengths = ¼” to 48” Length tolerance is +/- 1/16” Longer lengths and larger diameter dowels are available upon request. As one of the world's largest wood dowel manufacturers, we can accommodate design changes promptly and efficiently, providing a flexibility not possible with synthetic materials.
