Saunders Brother Manufacturing Divisions

Saunders Brothers has two manufacturing plants located in Fryeburg and Locke Mills, Maine. Each plant has their own unique ability to turn out the best product for our customers. Our specialized large diameter custom wood turning equipment and technology can be put to work for you to save you both time and money - adding value to your product! Your order will be manufactured to your specifications from quality New England hardwood; such as birch, beech, maple and ash.

We are continuing to expand our sawmill capacity and warehouse area to meet your needs. Our massive kilns allow for fast manufacturing turn-around time. Our state-of-the-art hardwood sawmill allows us to process logs from 36" to 96" in length into square or dimensional lumber. The double-cut bandsaw headrig and the twin-band resaw are both equipped with computer controls to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction along with achieving the best yield possible from our raw materials. We have always felt it is important to maximize use and manage our natural resources.

Saunders Brothers has practiced "green manufacturing" before it became popular! Nothing is wasted. We recycle all our scrap lumber and sawdust by burning it in our massive furnace to produce heat and electricity for the mills.
